Keep your vehicle batteries charged and maintained with ease using the NOCO GEN1. This one-bank, 10-amp, fully automatic charger is designed to be used with batteries from 25Ah to 230Ah, such as those found in boats, golf carts, UTVs, ATVs, tractors, or generators. The GEN1 uses a thorough eight-step process to charge and maintain your battery and features a switch-mode design, resulting in a charger that's small and lightweight.
Thanks to NOCO's smart design, the GEN1 charges batteries two times faster than traditional linear battery chargers do. An intelligent VosFX processor constantly monitors the power input, the attached battery, and the charger itself. As a result, you can achieve longer battery life and improved battery capacity.
Not only are NOCO battery chargers lightweight and compact, but they consume less energy. NOCO's smart technology has enabled the company to design a versatile battery charger that is both portable and energy-efficient. The GEN1 measures 6 by 5.1 by 2.5 inches (H x W x D) and weighs 3.8 pounds.
The NOCO GEN1 on-board battery charger features a fully sealed, waterproof housing that makes it well suited for harsh on-board charging environments. The product has an ingress protection rating of IP68. It also meets ISO 8846 marine standards and U.S. Coast Guard Title 33 CFR 183.410 ignition-protection requirements.
When designing its battery chargers, NOCO puts your safety first. The company's chargers are fortified with several unique safety features to protect you, your battery, and the charger itself. Included are built-in protections against reverse polarity, short circuits, open circuits, sparks, overheating, overcurrents, overcharging, and abnormalities.
Just plug in the NOCO GEN1 on-board battery charger and forget about your batteries. NOCO's revolutionary smart processor uses sophisticated levels of intelligence to alter the battery-charging process so you don't have to.
The NOCO GEN1 on-board battery charger uses an eight-step process to charge and maintain your battery. First, it checks your battery's voltage to make sure that the connections are good and that the battery is in stable condition before beginning the charge process. Second, it begins a bulk-charging process with a gentle (soft) charge. The process then continues and returns 80 percent of the battery's capacity. Next, it switches to a constant current charge rate to bring your battery close to a 90 percent charge, then charges a low current levels until the battery has reached 95 percent of its capacity. From there, the charger initiates a top-off charge to bring the battery to 100 percent. Finally, the GEN1 shuts off but constantly monitors your battery by providing a gentle charge every 24 hours for maximum battery life.
The NOCO GEN1 on-board battery charger is backed by a three-year limited warranty.
